Private Bob was having a tough time in boot camp. Every day was filled with grueling physical training, monotonous drills, and endless inspections. But Bob was determined to make it through.
So, when the day came for the recruits to get their bicillin shots, Bob was ready. He marched into the infirmary with his head held high, determined to show the medics that he was a tough guy who wasn't afraid of a little needle.
But as soon as the needle touched his skin, Bob's bravado disappeared. He yelped, jumped back, and started dancing around like he was being electrocuted.
"Oh my god, it hurts!" he yelled, clutching his butt cheek.
The medics couldn't stop laughing as they watched Bob's antics. Finally, one of them managed to calm him down and administer the shot.
As he left the infirmary, Bob was met with a chorus of cheers and jeers from his fellow recruits. "Welcome to the club, Private!" one of them shouted.
Bob just grinned and shrugged. He may not have been the toughest recruit in boot camp, but at least he could take a joke.
